A note from Taylor Zavatsky and Sean Morrissey

Our story began in 2016 at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. What started as a college friendship soon grew into a lifelong love. From days spent studying in O’Hare Academic Building to Sean asking Taylor to be his girlfriend at Castle Hill Inn, to dreaming about the life we would build together, our story has been filled with boat rides to Block Island, our annual Nantucket trip, ski days together, and countless laughs with our beloved beagles — if you know, you know.

Now, we are so excited to celebrate this next chapter as we return to Rhode Island, the place where our story first began, to say “I do” in beautiful Watch Hill. We cannot wait to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people we love most.

We will be staying at Ocean House for the weekend of the wedding. While we are not reserving a formal room block, guests are welcome to book accommodations there or explore the many hotels, inns, and vacation rental properties available throughout Watch Hill and the surrounding coastal Rhode Island area.

What is the nearest airport?

T.F. Green (PVD) – approximately 45 minutes
Bradley (BDL) – approximately 1.5 hours
Logan (BOS) – approximately 1.5 hours

Are children invited to the wedding events?

While we adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. We truly appreciate your understanding.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Plus-ones are reserved for guests whose invitations are addressed accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for seating.

Is transportation provided?

Guests are responsible for their own transportation. Rideshare services are available, though limited in the area, so we recommend planning ahead.

Will there be parking options available?

Yes. Valet parking will be available at Ocean House for our wedding. Upon arrival, please inform the valet that you are attending the Morrissey wedding, and they will assist you accordingly.

Will the wedding events take place outdoors?

Yes. Our ceremony is planned to take place outdoors on the South Lawn, weather permitting. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors on the terrace, with the reception to follow indoors. As we are right on the water, evenings can be breezy, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Our ceremony is planned to take place outdoors on the South Lawn. In the event of inclement weather, it will be held at The Watch Hill Chapel, located just across the street from Ocean House. A decision will be made with guest comfort in mind, and any updates will be shared accordingly.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you join us in keeping our ceremony unplugged by refraining from using cell phones or cameras. We have a professional photographer capturing the day and will happily share those memories with you afterward.

Will there be gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian options, or allergy-friendly options?

Yes. The culinary team at Ocean House will thoughtfully prepare a variety of options to accommodate dietary needs. Kindly note any restrictions when you RSVP so we may ensure a suitable alternative is prepared for you.
